The volunteers of the Texas Ramp Project in Abilene build wheelchair ramps for the low-income disabled. Our service area extends to Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor and Throckmorton counties.
The Ramp Project only accepts client referrals from social service agencies.
Social workers can refer clients via our referral page.
The Texas Ramp Project in Abilene is supplementally funded by The Home Depot.

An average ramps takes 1/2 a day to complete!! What a productive way to assist our neighbors and free them from the captivity from their own home.
