The volunteers of the Texas Ramp Project in Abilene build wheelchair ramps for the low-income disabled. Our service area extends to Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor and Throckmorton counties.
The Ramp Project only accepts client referrals from social service agencies and health care professionals - social workers, therapists, home health workers etc.

The Texas Ramp Project in Abilene is supplementally funded by The Home Depot.

An average ramp takes 1/2 a day to complete!! What a productive way to assist our neighbors and free them from the captivity from their own home.
