The Texas Ramp Project is a state-wide 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps volunteers build wheelchair ramps for low-income disabled individuals. It is easy work for a few hours that will make a tremendous positive change for a worthy family.

This is light construction work. We want you to contribute in whatever way you are comfortable. Your build manager and other experienced volunteers can help you learn new skills if you like.

Please bring gloves, eye protection (goggles or safety glasses), and ear protection (plugs or muffs). If you have a drill, please bring it. Anything else you need will be provided.

You will be working outside and likely to get a little dirty and sweaty. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

Please complete the downloadable waiver form and media release form. Turn in both documents to your build manager when you arrive.

We keep a close watch on the weather. We can’t work in rain or on very wet sites. If there is any question about the weather, contact your build manager. If we do cancel, we will email you as soon as we make a decision.
