WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — The results are in as another year of Texoma Gives comes to an end.

This year, the Day of Giving brought more than $1.7 million to the more than 200 non-profits in Texoma.

One of the non-profit organizations included in Texoma Gives was Texas Ramp Project, represented by Steven Ulrick. Ulrick builds ramps for those with mobility issues who need an easy way to leave their houses.

When it comes to everything the non-profit gets out of Texoma Gives, donations, big or small, play a big part in daily operations.

“We get donations from a lot of organizations in town, from grants and things like that, which are very good,” Ulrick said. “But the individuals that give to Texas Ramp, small amounts. It’s surprising how these small amounts really add up to a big amount, so we can build a ramp for an individual that needs it, that needs to get out.”
