Impact San Antonio awarded the Texas Ramp Project the prestigious High Impact grant for the building of wheelchair ramps in Bexar and surrounding counties.
San Antonio region coordinator Scott Badger and the San Antonio leadership team of George Swarner, Ronald Gross, Steve Swanson and Fred Martin were outstanding ambassadors for the Texas Ramp Project during the due diligence period over the summer, including providing virtual site visits, demonstrating the building process and the impact they have on our neighbors in San Antonio that are desperately in need of accessibility and mobility .
Celebrating the award are (from left) Sharon Jones Schweitzer, president of Impact San Antonio; George Swarner, TRP build coordinator; Mary Jo Bolster, TRP surveyor; Scott Badger, TRP San Antonio Central region coordinator; and Yvonne Grothues, incoming president of Impact San Antonio.
