Wayne Gorby of the Pearland Lions Club and Les Schmaltz, the Texas Ramp Project Regional Coordinator for the Pearland area, combined forces to build a life-changing ramp for our neighbor in Alvin, TX. Her words below say it all.

“I just wanted to say THANK YOU for sending some wonderful men to build and install my ramp. Most of the volunteers came from Pearland Lions Club. Prior to the ramp, I was entering and exiting my home through the back door and had a hard time navigating the stairs. Now, I’m able to get in and out of my house easier and without worrying about falling. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!”
