Mission milestone: Texas Ramp Project builds 30,000th ramp

Since 1985, the Texas Ramp Project has been building wheelchair ramps for our elderly and disabled neighbors across every part of the State of Texas. Today we are celebrating a monumental achievement of building our 30,000th wheelchair ramp.

The 30,000th ramp was built in Washington County by Team Leader Butch Meier, part of the Bryan/College Station region led by Roy Harrington, Regional Director.

We celebrate this achievement by extending our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to each and everyone of our volunteers. Our Regional leaders, build team leaders, and volunteer builders that have hammered, cut wood, and screwed in millions of screws to achieve this feat. We could not have done this without these volunteers as well as all the foundations, corporations, businesses, and individual donors that donated to our mission.

For everyone’s hard work, efforts, and donations, we say THANK YOU!

Now on to helping the next 30,000 neighbors that are hoping for the freedom a wheelchair ramp provides to them and their family.
