Lifelong residents of Rusk County, T.J. and LaVerne Plunkett loved their community and were committed to improving lives throughout the region. The Plunkett Foundation has a generous history of supporting many charities in East Texas through the East Texas Communities Foundation. The Texas Ramp Project is honored to be awarded a $5,000 grant for the purchase of materials for the building of up to 12 much-needed wheelchair ramps for those in need of life-changing mobility in Smith County.
