Transformation Park, a new facility offering comprehensive support to Amarillo’s homeless population, opened on April 12. The Park provides compassionate care, support, and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness, fostering their journey toward stability, health, employment, and a brighter future. Transformation Park exists as a true partnership of church, commerce, and city, coming together to provide the essential services and resources necessary to end homelessness in our community.

The Texas Ramp Project, led by Henry and Dinah Wyckoff and 8 wonderful volunteers from the Amarillo Downtown Lions Club, West Texas A&M University, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, and the United Way of Amarillo/Canyon, donated materials and labor to build 4 wheelchair ramps on April 27th at Transformation Park to accommodate the new residents with disabilities.
